Hello Everyone, This is my first actual post so I suppose I should introduce myself. I've been watching the boards for a couple weeks or so, the intellectual quality of this board is impressive. It's nice to see conversations about topics which are of interest instead of sifting through other boards. My interests lie mostly in development, especially in homebrew development. Onto my question: Is there any known way of building a recovery disc (for a Debug console) from an existing remote recovery package? Thanks -reverbb
I've never heard of anyone doing what you state, either officially or unofficially, but perhaps that is simply because there was no specific need. That said, I would say that the different "autoinstaller" discs for modded consoles are the closest thing to a "homebrew" version of a recovery disc. They do not flash the TSOP, but they do install all the necessary files to a hard drive to get a working system up and running. -hl718
Right. My system didn't ship with any recovery discs. No need specifically right now as my system is functioning properly, just for sake of curiosity. Thanks for the fast response!
From my experience so far (not very experienced) I don't know if its possible to make an iso via the remote recovery but I ended up used remote recovery to update mine to 5933.
Hmm oddly enough on ebay I came across one I hope it's okay to post the link. http://cgi.ebay.com/Xbox-dev-kit-re...ptZUS_Vintage_Video_Games?hash=item230460e30d Hope you can figure out your situation man, but its 1am here, I need to get some sleep Good Luck! :icon_bigg
Honestly, the easiest way is going to be to google, a bunch of the XDK recoverys are available with some searching.
