How do you know it's "another crappy shooter"? I could say the same thing about ever bloody FPS game with some tit in the armed forces.

 

It's not like the track record for post-death DC games has been that good, with the exceptions of Ikaruga, Border Down and maybe Radirgy they've kinda sucked. Seems pretty obvious they're only going for the novelty factor of "a new DC game"...
And I'd say that about every bloody FPS with some tit in the armed forces too

Attack of the Mutant Penguins
Battle Sphere
Iron Soldier II (if he gets a Jag CD)

And I liked Hover Striker and I-War well enough.

 

Yes you could and most of the time you would be right

Although the gameplay videos that there are of this game, show some pretty CG graphics but lets be honest the gameplay does look more Amiga then Dreamcast and as metioned the track record for DC indie shooters is not so good, FS was better but still not a patch on even some of the worse Saturn shooters. It is funny seeing second hand copies of Dux and Last Hope for 1500 yen with Fast Stryker being only 2000 yen, although DC shooters do seem to be running around 3000 yen for most games...

 

But Attack of the Mutant Penguins is crap...besides, it's on PC too if you really want to play it. I only listed good exclusives, except for Tempest 2000, but supposedly the Jaguar version is the best in that case.

 

Eh, I always liked it enough. Not the greatest game, but not terrible. Didn't realize it was on the PC though.
