Refurbishing a limited edition GBA SP

Both are pretty hideous, but I guess they were aimed at kids so they serve a purpose.

 

The only possible way to do it would be to mask off everything that isn't black and dye the plastic with something like RIT. That being said, i don't know how your going to avoid the dye bleeding into other areas unless you can pull of a mask job that is fully water tight. Even then it might still bleed through the small scratches.

Or you could buy all of the equipment to silk screen it again, but that would cost way more than a new gameboy.

 

I have a Pikachu N64 as my "daily driver" N64, I like it very much.

IMHO it is one of the coolest manufacturer limited editions because it is a full physical case mod, not just a paint job or casing colour change.

Heineken Gamecube probably makes top 3 worst limited consoles ever.

 

I don't want it to look brand new just better. There are no collector pieces in my collection, if I buy something I'm gonna play it. There's no point in consoles just sitting on a shelf.

 

Agreed.On the other side,the MTV Gamecube looks damn cool.It could just blend with a piece of wood,if the MTV logo wasn't there.
