[RELEASE] Dino Crisis GBC - 2 x game proposal documents

I am releasing 2 game proposal documents for the planned but not developed GBC port of Dino Crisis.

I got these a while back from one of the would have been development team on the promise that I released them in digital form for all to see, share and appreciate. It's taken me a little longer than I had originally planned to do this but finally they are out there for all to see.

The game only ever got as far as these documents. This was mainly down to the fact that Capcom were not happy with the way the Resident Evil GBC port turned out (or didn't turn out as it ended up).
These documents were created sometime in 1999 and the actual documents I received were used in a meeting with Virgin Interactive on the morning of 1st November 1999.

The donor of these documents hasn't been in full-time work since early 2007 so if anyone would like to make a small donation to him I am sure he would appreciate it... and maybe he will find some other nice things to show us all.

Please excuse my ignorance but i was looking at the 17page doc (11page doc seems to be down) and near the very end i noticed a few *screenshots* i didn't read the docs yet but where they from a prototype or where they mock-ups? Thanks alot!

 

I had the same problem. The link is not down just incomplete. Copy the link as a shortcut, paste into the browser, then add an 's' to the end of 'page' right before the .pdf Worked for me

Thanks! This is probably the closest we're going to get to the actual game, but it's actually more than I expected.

 

I remember that i've tried to contact one of the former employees of M4, but no response, according to an interview, there was a pitch demo to show to capcom at the time.

Spent the last hour or so clearing up some old emails whilst I had the chance and stumbled upon the original email (to me) of these docs and thought it would be nice to re-up them and bump the thread for people that might have missed it the first time around.

So, the game never made it to even a prototype stage, right? Those are some really well-done mock-ups then. Really, the documents are really interesting, thanks for sharing them with us!
