Remember When Broken Xboxes Used To Be Worth A Lot?

My local retro shop sells fully working xbox consoles for £12.50 - £20 and nobody wants them anyway, they are desperate to get rid of them
I once bought a soft modded Xbox with two controllers, a dvd remote and 4 games for £3, there was nothing wrong with it at all and to this day it is running nicely

 

You guys in the UK are so lucky with retro gaming/previous gen. Everything is fairly priced. Nearly all my games are UK PAL because the prices are really good, compared to the Australian games with the Australian tax.

 

I know a video game store that uses working Xboxes as doorstops. Right now the only xbox stuff that is worth money is the JP stuff, the limited editions, a few fighters, a few popular commons, and that stupid Barbie game.

 

Xbox stuff will go up in Value at some stage. It's just finishing becoming previous gen, soon people will want them again and prices will go up. Just right now there isn't any demand yet, apart from the Japanese release systems and games.
