Not a bug per se, but since we moved to https we get "mixed content warnings" whenever a resource is linked to via http instead of https. See there: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3292697/find-out-what-resources-are-not-going-over-https
It basically is triggered by a 'src="http:' in the sourcecode.

So when users embed images in a post/signature the images aren't processed through the ssl layer and it gives warnings in chrome. It's still safe as long as we trust that no one is doing a man-in-the-middle attack on profile signatures... No big deal, this isn't a banking website after all, but the warning could scare some people I guess.

Good job putting back the site online!

I'm still not getting any email notifications for PMs, even though I believe it's enabled by default and certainly enabled for me. Other than that and the login thing, all appears to be fine at this point. Favicon still needs updating but that's not a big deal nor a priority.

I'm sick as a dog right now with the flu. I'll try and get this done this weekend.

The Log Out button gives me a 502 Bad Gateway error every time. It does still log me out, though.

lost a few PM's in both sent and received, also seems the subscriptions are not working, I have it set for instantly by email and never get any email from the site at all right now not even for PM.

Also not sure if this is happening for everyone or not, but I randomly get the sticky about clearing cookies/cache but not everytime. I cleared all cookies on my browser and still randomly there. One visit it is there, then couple visits later its gone, and then comes back again.

My PM notifications are working again, and logging out seems to work fine for me on both OS X 10.10.2 (Safari) and Windows 7 (Chrome). The whole "not being logged in to begin with" thing is... still a thing, but it's not that big of a deal since one can just navigate to another page and it works fine (but this still persists before and after clearing cookies, FYI).

You're gonna restore the chatbox at some point, right? No hurry, I was just wondering.

    Chatbox will be back.

I just don't have energy to work on site atm. If I have big problem with my current level of energy I might cause a worse issue.

About the chatterbox, I thought it was working just fine but you just hadn't copied some of the files for VB plugins back properly (the XML files, if I remember correctly). What exactly is stopping you from just flicking a switch, so to speak? I assume it's not so simple right now (I remember you mentioning incompatibilities with the newer VB4 or something to that extent, unless you were talking about VB5). Still, if it is a lot of work, then yeah, just take a break, because it's not important. In the mean time, there's always the Steam chat... which no one has been using over the past week or so since the site has been back up.

Most times when I go to post or reply, when I click quick reply, it takes me to the advanced screen and I loose what I wrote. Going back and clicking quick reply works though.
also the site doesn't remember me -cries- lol so I have to log in manually. Auto fill helps in that regard. :)

Protip: Don't worry about logging in. Visit any thread, and your cookie will auto-log you back in. It's a strange glitch where only the home page doesn't remember you being logged in, but forum threads do for whatever reason.

Correction: it doesn't remember you only when you first visit the site (during each session, that is). Once you go to a thread then back to the index, you're logged in.

It seems that when you first visit the site it is using http, but when you switch to another page (any page as far as I can see) it starts to use https.
It might be related to the sign in issue. Apart from that and the chatbox, I havent noticed any problems.

Yep same here, if I follow an old link to AG that was http, I'm not signed in. But simply clicking anywhere takes you to the https site and logs you in.
I just deleted my old links and added the https and all is good. Maybe have the http redirect to https automatically or don't even listen on port 80.

Yep, as ASSEMbler has already said, it's https that's causing the problem, but he hasn't had time to fixed it yet (and I don't blame him).
