[REQUEST] Crash Bandicoot 2 - Beta/Alpha

As the title says. And if it's not released, can you tell me someone who has it? I really want it.

 

probably member "Buyatari" have some fake/burned disc. (found official on CD-R from Sony is little hard)

 

Buyatari doesn't have fake stuff. Everything I have bought from him has been authentic.

 

if is on official disc, why not.

 

Burned on cd-r doesn't necessarily mean 'fake'... be careful what you insinuate!

You have placed the word 'probably' in the wrong position within the sentence if that is what you had meant to say!

Either way you still said the word fake and within the context of the sentence it wasn't the correct word to use.

your accuse someone of selling fake items when you have no proof, kiff was trying to rectify this. how would you like it if someone said "NetYaroze sells fake disks and counterfeit consoles"

As I told you, (official disc) have different label, Naughty Dog used different disc for those "games" in the old times, and not only NDI!
Btw, once Sony wanted to see the progress, ND send an (official disc with revision number, said Greg "Developer") unlike Jason "President" to said (no idea) :dejection: ...and Sony made some copy (from the only 1 original) to send on reviewers (and here enter the great world of "copy" / unofficial = fake, this not mean anything more) because someone in this area, just made another copy... that's all!

Just remeber, some "offices/studios" needed to use disc submitted by SCEA, once Sony got, they used "GOLD" disc... Btw, found a GOLD CD-R on web is really easy, and some of those are also "LightScribe" ...this mean you can print on directly from your burner! :biggrin-new:

I'm not sure what the big fuss you're making is about, the majority if not all PSX protos I've seen are always on CDRs from some company that's not affiliate with Sony. Can you even show what an "official" cd in your opinion is? Even if someone was selling what is ultimately a copy from an official disc, in the end if it's the only copy of that specific prototype revision out there for anyone to buy, it doesn't really matter much, does it? Now if the seller themselves made the copy recently just to make profit while keeping the original disc, then you've got a problem. And it seems like you want to say this is what buyatari, a trusted member, is doing with a prototype disc that I've yet to see publicly for sale anywhere. Have you got something against him, or are you just having fun trying to play detective?

I don't think any dreams are destroyed since there wasn't anything going on at all before you just brought this up out of nowhere.

 

Oh, sorry... if want to know the result: is copy from the copy of the original... (in one sense, still official) but also an image file like .ISO is still original. :stupid:
And, I never (accused) buyatari, or told to (sell) fake disc, all those insinuations have pulled out "you" with your comments... from just one word...

Maybe it's an "original", has version number on it.

 

I guess what 'NetYaroze' is trying to say; internally Naughty Dog only used a specific type of CD-R to burn their builds on. However these specific discs got send to Sony, who on their turn made aditional copy's on various type of CD-R's. So basicly the disc for sale by 'BuyAtari' isn't a disc burned by the developer, but most likely a burn made by the publisher (Sony).

To be fair; most discs that got send to reviewers and press outlets are made/burned by the publisher and not the developer.

As long as the disc in question is made/burned by eather the developer OR publisher, we can safely assume it's a genuine 'prototype' '(p)review' and/or beta code.

:encouragement: ...right! sony made gold and black/silver disc... btw, some reviewers made some copy for "friends" and other member, in this way (1 copy) become 2 copy, and more, more and more... in this way 1 original becomes like multi-original one... I can show you how look a "beta" today at Naughty Dog office for (Uncharted) today we use standard "shiny silver" disc with version on, as all of those is on BD-ROM disc, no one can do a copy (exept sony) and sony if made, use white printable disc to send on reviewers! :friendly_wink:

 

I'm just lost on why you were talking about "Destroying the dream" as though you were making it seem as if you exposed something sinister going on :x I doubt I'm the only one that misinterpreted all of this as something against buyatari and this apparent disc he has.

I'm lost too when some users started to say "bullshit" on things that I never said, I never talked about sales, or here that guy sells fake (I told probably) now confirmed, but I just said that the CD (what you see in the picture) is not the original (1st copy) but third parties, or even beyond... nothing else, is the same copy to I can made at home if want to know.
Why some crazy guys created a "different" argument about 1 guy ... I do not have any f.... idea, I just answered to this question...

I know very well the (first) NDI team, and can get any info. want, just disliked the fact that some continues to talk about "selling" or "insinuation" and "validity"... WTF!
