    looking for the first cry engine since i dont think the original xbox can handle CryEngine 2 or 3

    Was the original CryEngine even made for xbox?
    Afail Far Cry Instincts (or whatever the name of the xbox version was) was a Ubisoft game with their own crappy engine ?

    You are better off trying to find Unreal Engine 2X if you want Xbox support. That said, I havent heard of anyone having it.

    quake 3 engine? or prehaps lithtech engine?

    i know the quake 3 engine has had its source released.

    My point was that you aren't just going to find an Xbox engine out there online easily, they weren't free tools. But UE2x exists anyway, and is something to look for.
