It would have been great to have been able to use use made mods and levels with the XBox version (you can with a very tiny number of XBox games on a modded console, including Morrowind, GTA3, GTA Vice City, and GTA San Andreas, though in all cases the XBox's relatively low memory (as compared to a PC of the time) is a critical factor in deciding if a given mod/add-on will run.

Yes that would be interesting. I too never had my 360 modded, as (unlike the original XBox) the amount of homebrew didn't warrant it.

That's what I'd have thought. Surely demos are free to everyone, and are created by games companies with the exact intention of their being viewed by anyone who wants to see them. So surely distributing a demo is legal and breaks no copyright rules?

That is generous! To a lot of people (probably including me) Ravenholm is the best part of Half-Life 2, so they chose cleverly when deciding which part to put into the demo.
