Unlike me  I ignored anything made by Nintendo. Same goes on my Wii except for Zelda.

Well, I know not your tastes Sir Yakumo, but I can vouch for Galaxy - if you're into mind-bending platforming with a pinch of nostalgia thrown for good measure.

Trully the best mechanics I ve ever see in a 3D platform game, and surely the one that has challenged my mind (in real-time) the most.

you ll need reflexes, imagination and some heafty experience with a 3D stick in order to play like a pro (smoothly, without making corrections or jerky moves) but it's very satisfying!

It's a blast, I still haven't beaten it though. I think the Nintendo thing I care the most about is Metroid. Most of my Gamecube games aren't Nintendo.

Oh come on, everyone knows they stole all that from Ratchet & Clank. :110:

Note: I'm referring to this: http://games.kikizo.com/features/ratchet_ps3_iv_p1.asp

Because, you know, Insomniac invented spherical worlds, that wasn't done in like, Sonic 3 or Sonic Adventure 2 or anything. ;-)

Ahhh, Spheres...brings me back to when Sonic 3 came out and I kept pronouncing that word wrong.

Reading the interview I don't think he meant that Insomniac had invented spherical worlds, I think it's more like "perhaps Mr.M tried our take on spherical worlds and found it fun enough to create his own".

Always got dizzy when playing those Sonic special stages :-(

Well Datel did announce there is a Wii Freeloader coming out. So you can all import it and play the same damn game now with Wiimote control! So very exciting. ;p

Making a port for GC's second coming (AKA the Wii) is a no-brainer, specially becos unlike the GC, there isnt so many AAA games to compete against.

Word, I'll rather play Metroid, Galaxy or even Brawl than that Zelda.

    Wind Waker FTW!

The fact that a single level in SA2 could evolve into a good game reminds me of how Pirates of the Caribbean started as a crappy disneyland ride.

Of couse thats easier when you ripoff other people's works, in that case Monkey Island...

I ll have to agree with tou Shadowlayer, the latest Zelda was too formulaic, and really didn't pull me in. It felt like a tick-box process rather than a real zelda game, for some reason I can't quite point out.

Things might have been different had I never played Ocarina of time, but I think not. OoT had a sense of freedom thanks to its field and level design (Although i m still not past the first dungeon in TP:p )

The first bit of it, while fun, really is annoying. It's like they just make you do the same thing over and over again to lengthen the game...that's how it felt to me anyways. The bug hunting thing was just annoying.
