or alternativly buy my modded gc, which has component output, and will play any game from any region

anyways, ive seen gamecubes sell on ebay for £2 + postage in the past couple of weeks, so there are bargains to be found

Yeah, I got my US GC for £16 about 8mths ago and recently purchased a UK GC for £5. Poor old GC is taking a bit of a value dump, but atleast it means you can snap up some pretty cool limited editions for next to nothing on eBay.

indeed, but gamecube games are shooting up in price at the moment thatnks to the wii, couple of months before thr wii was out my local gameshop prob had about 10 gamecube games, now they have shelves of them all rediculously overpriced!

as fot gc limited editions, im still after a pearl edition, simply for the controller to match my wii!

I CAN GET DONKEY KONG COUNTRY 3 FOR $2 AT THE LOCAL MOM AND POP STORE SO IT SHOULD SELL FOR THAT MUCH AND NO MORE ON ANY DOWNLOAD SERVICE.

(I imagine that 8 USD can be a bit much for certain SNES games on VC, but then again, there's no way game pricing can be consistent anymore unless you compare across the board online; eBay is a good place to get a feel for some sort of value.)

How can you not have a GameCube? I think they have them in Cracker Jack boxes as prizes now. While I agree the PS2 version is perfectly enjoyable and playable, it is inferior still. It offers no benifit over the GC version other than a few extras. Obviously if you don't have a GC but you have a PS2 there's nothing wrong with picking up the PS2 version. But if you are a fan of RE, or if you have a GC, or if you have some extra cash to buy a GC you should.

If you ask me VC was made for lazy ass people with lots of disposable income (like, they dont have a life) and ergo they would rather pay more for a dumb ROM than search on ebay or drive to the nearest VG store...

Even then, you're not guaranteed the title for (for local, in-person searches) and the price is a toss-up (for in-person and online, like eBay).

There are games I would buy on the VC and games I definitely wouldn't. (lol, Sonic 2)
