    A "short" video from it;

    <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ShC8zJgbTts"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ShC8zJgbTts" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

From the begining up until Barry and Jill search for Wesker. Enjoy :)

That's pretty cool for running on GB hardware. Although the zombies have a weird death pose.

I've never seen a video of it in action. Still looks great considering it was meant for the Gameboy Color. I still can't imagine how they planned to fit the whole game in though.

Yes, quite good for GB Color.

And that death pose sure is strange, hehehe!

    Awesome Video!

It's probably the only way to give a satisfactory image of the dead zombie, short of a green line on the floor...

Well, here comes the million dollar question: Where did you get that video?

Sidenote: I really really really really wanted this game to come out. I was never the type to be easily impressed by video games...but I wanted this something awful. I was incredibly pissed when it was cancelled.

...and instead of this we got that lame Gaiden game. Has any prototype been ripped?

I can't help but read the text as:

I remember hearing about this. Why exactly was it cancelled anyway? Did they think it wouldn't sell well? Also, in the parts where the characters move closer or futher away, is that realtime scaling? If so, that's pretty impressive for a gameboy.

Why do you need to ask that question? I would probably say because it whilst it offered good effects for the GBC, it's not worth the porting.

maybe the fact that the devkit running the pre-final code had twice the amount of memory and they ultimately couldn't cram it for retail? o_O

Seems more like an issue of "does the game do service to the series, or harm it"

Seems like they pulled it as they did several other RE games: They just weren't up to the standards of quality for the franchise.

The bad controls of REmake and Zero killed those games for me personally.

If they think quality is only graphics, they re dead wrong.

Yeah right... We're talking about Capcom here. They are probably the worst out of all the developers when it comes to port whoring and double dipping. Especially with this franchise. If they could have gotten it to work and be cost effective they would have sold it.

It's awesome ! never seen videos of this game but I always founded this port was a great idea... or at last a better than the odd Gaiden...
This videos means anyway that the game was quite complete and playable...

Very nice video! Thanks sharing. Was this running on a Demoboy by any chance? I'm sure it can be dumped to a flash cart if it was.
