Very impressive. I would easily have thought that it was a Saturn version of RE2

The BlueRoses engine (used in the RE2 GBA tech demo) found a home in the Wing Commander: Prophecy port to the GBA. I had followed the engine when I first saw those RE tech demo shots among other things, sadly WC:p was the only game released that uses it.

Blueroses could do thousands of polygons per second with cool features like texture animation and particle systems. I was really hoping it would have received more wide-spread use.

    Tis' A Shame.
I have never even heard of it until I read this topic. It seems like such a great engine for such a limited handheld device. Maybe they just finished finalizing their engine too late in the GBA's Life-span?

Awesome videos. It's a shame none of them were finally released.

From a technical standpoint those two videos are amazing. I probably wouldn't have touched the GBC one with a ten foot pole, but RE:2? That looks incredible.

Just remember, RE2 was never a game, just a tech demo not made by Capcom

Check out the Metal Gear Solid video, along with a few others on youtube, all are using the same engine as the one used to make that RE2 tech demo
