This thought had crossed my mind as well. I do still have the negatives somewhere and a friend of mine has some professional photo equipment but he's out of town until later this month.

I'll post a update later once it gets back.

I posted some of my own screenshots of beta items in the trial version on my webs.com site (http://treblayevrah.webs.com/apps/photos/album?albumid=8796644). Not to "advertise" or anything... It ain't for profit. I also have my codes posted on there. While I was hacking it, I decided to take those shots to show some of the early models/textures for some of the items that can normally never be acquired on the demo.

Maybe tomorrow I will dump the trial again so I can get the texture files and such to share with some people on here. It's pretty easy to do, it's just a little tedious to set it all up. I used to have the files saved, but i don't know what I did with them. No big deal.

Neither. I was hacking on the Gamecube with GCNrd. I had to use the PSO method to boot it. I also used that to take those screen captures.

Well, I was lucky to find my BA for pretty cheap, and I also secured a sealed one at a local store for about 20 bucks before they vanished from the shelves. Nowadays, the only place I've seen them are ebay for about $50.

Sadly, they don't have much use other than tools for hacking, because hardly any Gamecube games support LAN. I wish Resident Evil Zero had had LAN multiplayer, because I think that would have worked pretty well despite a few things that would have to be reworked.

Certainly would of worked better than re5's crappy co-op.

Honestly, the offline co-op was the only reason I enjoyed RE5 as much as I did, just being able to play through the game with my brother. Other than that, it was a disappointment. A terrible story, uninteresting characters, and a further step away from the horror element than even RE4. For some reason, I thought it had huge potential from the initial teaser that was shown, but it turned out totally different than I imagined. Still, it's not a horrible game, just not the one I hoped it would be.

Anyway, I have a .rar file for download on my site that contains a bunch of the textures from the Biohazard 0 Trial. Some of the item textures aren't included yet, but I'll add them later on. For now, most of the relevant stuff is there.

Actually, there is a lot more stuff like maps and item icons, but the .tpl viewer I have doesn't seem to be able to export all of the files in .tpls that have more than one image. I remember there was a site that had map files from RE0, and they had a section on some of the differences that were present between them and the final game. I can't remember if they got the files from the final game or the trial.

Either way, I also noticed another thing. I don't know if it's in the final version or not, but there is a .tpl that includes the names of each area you collect a map for. The names listed are, "Train, Research Center, Lake, Factory, and Unknown." I guess it must be referring to the treatment plant for "lake," but it seems odd to label it that way, because that almost implies that the area surrounding the plant is more important than the structure itself. That's like calling the train "Forest." I'm sure this was picked up by someone else, but I personally never noticed it until now.

Man, it's interesting to hear the old dialog and voice actors in that video. I'm pretty sure that's the same actress as in the Biohazard 0: Trail Edition.

The best part of that video:

    Rebecca: "Who are you?!"
    Billy: "No, who... are you?"

It looks like Billy's character model was pretty well done for N64, though. The music also seems pretty similar, except for the theme for the hallways on the train... Sounds more like the RPD station in RE2.

Yeah the music in that video does sound RE2-like, but it's different. Shame that never got a release :(. Wonder if it's still on the GC disc in the files somewhere?
