I've searched for this and all I can find are dead links. Would anyone happen to have it and be willing to upload it?

    thanks in advance

I'm sorry but what does it do? Is this some sort of debug app to launch retail executables?

Yep, it allows retail XBEs to launch, without using anything like the Hack Devkit Bios which is always running. Ive had an occasional piece of dev software not work with Hack Dev Kit Bios running, so its nice to use RGL.

I read somewhere that the Hack Devkit Bios doesn't work with anything besides the standard AV cables, which is primarily why I am not using it.

Anyone know why I can't get XBMC to run without using Retail Game Loader? I even compiled a debug xbe using the source code and XDK myself, and it won't load on the debug kit without using RGL. Shouldn't xbes compiled with the XDK work with a debug kit without any hacks?

That's because yoshi had no idea wtf he was doing when he made that BFM devkit bios. He's lucky it boots at all.

Hey Borman, a bit off-topic, but I don't have a Disqus account so I can't comment on your site. Anyways, I have a complete Dakota w/breakaway, and it works 100% on retail hardware. I only mention this because you said that the Dakota doesn't work with retail hardware. I suspect that the breakaway cord is different, but I don't have a regular xbox controller to test with (I'm stocked up on the Logitech wireless controllers...brilliant design).

Yeah, I always imagined it was a breakaway cable problem, since it doesn't work with any hardware using the retail

I could make a new version that works and even lets you load save games from retail systems.

RGL seems to work fine with retail saves. It's Hack Devkit Bios that gives me the issues.

My I could use that hacked bios also! I have tons of issues with yoshis bios also. I get black and white with component cables also. But my Real Debug unit work fine with the component cables. I did hear from a few people that the component cables do not work on debugs. I am guessing that was solved in a XDK update.

Myria can you make the XDK force wide screen also?I hate the fact that it is in 4:3

Really most of the XDK is all BMP files, no reason they couldnt be changed. It wouldnt be perfect obviously, but it would look better. Maybe Ill give it a go sometime.

And component cables have worked pretty much perfectly since the DVT3, so I dont know who says that. Ive been recording all of my footage from a debug kit using component cables.
