What can i say? Yet another grear video Mark! The PlayStation library is so big and there's so many japanese exclusives, a lot still undiscovered or hidden behind the languare barrrier. It's just so interesting looking back and see so many companies trying different ideas. Looking forward to the MSX episode. Even though we never had official MSX2 machines, the standard was somewhat popular in Brazil. I do have cool memories of it. My brother had one back in the day and i remember playing lots of games on it, specially Konami stuff. I just wish it wasn't so expensive to get one now, when it so easy to emulate (even online with webmsx).
thanks Johnny. I thought this PlayStation episode would never get done but I finally got there in the end As you said there are so many PlayStation games out there that I bet there are so many quality games that we've never played. That's what's so exciting about PlayStation collection. Unfortunately there's also a crap load of shovel wear on the format too. I'm looking forward to making the MSX show. Although all footage will be from the MSX2 I will also talk about other versions of the hardware.
A new knock off this week that is actually good!!! Want to play CPSII games on the go for less than a new modern game?
So what do you do with all these knock offs when you're done with them? Build a second house in Rural Japan out of knock off consoles?
Put together a simple tutorial on how to get a Master EverDrive in to a Japanese Master System / Mark III case and running on a Japanese console.
Nice video as always. I do have to wonder, with japan's love for UFO and retro games. How come i've yet to see someone come across a UFO full of old Fami/SuperFami games to play for. lol....
Ah, I knew it couldn't be a totally crazy idea for japan. If you ever come across one again you should do a video on it. =)
Have you ever wanted an arcade game at home but lacked the space or the missus / husband wouldn't allow it? Maybe this is the solution. Twin joysticks, 800 arcade games and games running at the correct speed.
If I had to guess that stick runs Final Burn Alpha. The game list is nearly identical to what I have on my Raspberry pi 3. But my Pi runs all these games with out screen tearing.
What I think is uncommon is probably well known by the Neo Geo community, actually, not probably but definitely well known but here it is, Retro Core 5 - Volume 21 - More 1 on 1 fighters you've probably never played.
Great research work, so many games i've never heard of. The only exception was Savage Reign. I do remember it was heavily advertised by NeoGeo do Brasil in gaming magazines.
Thanks, Johnny. I find these old or obscure fighters to be rather interesting. I've got a load more to cover too in the future.
