Great show! I've been needing something new to watch for a while now and this hits the spot. I'm surprised the IBM 5150 does support 3.5" floppies. I must keep that in mind should I ever add one to my collection.
Just watched the episode on the 5150 a buddy of mines mom worked In a research lab at a hospital and always brought home the newest computer tech. I remember playing some games like spy hunter and star gate on it.
Episode 23 is live! Talking about a few mods I've done over the last few weeks. Yes, I missed number 22. I had the previous update mis-labelled at Ep 22 in Final Cut.
The camera films at 50Hz, so when the system's in 50Hz mode, the camera and system are nearly synced.
That's what I thought But in real life though, I cannot stand 50hz, its too flickery. Hell, even 60hz is borderline. Ill be damned I do not know how you guys manage to deal with 50hz.
Episode 25 is live! First video of 2014!! I compare a few different versions of Thexder, one of my favourite games of all time.
Im not dead!! Episode 31: On this episode, ramblings about PC Speaker emulation. Episode 32: Mini-report on my Hong Kong + Japan trip of late 2015, and other ramblings. Episode 33: Making the IBM PC 5150 a bit more useful! Episode not-an-episode: Commander Keen 4 with composite colour on an IBM CGA Episode 34: On this episode, I build a Socket 370 machine with no less than FOUR 3D accelerators on deck!
There was supposed to be a repair video for my Famicom Disk System, but all it needed was some solder joints fixed, so I decided not to bother making a full length video and just show the thing working. So here 'tis!
Episode 35 is live! Today I fixed an incorrect colour issue with the TTL input on my 14" PVM monitor.
