Because it's failing to compete with the next generation of systems. Nintendo know it can't compete with mainstream any more, so it's not even trying.
IN YOUR OPINION. I wouldn't keep a DC in my house if you paid me. Utter pish, low quality games. There are extremely few good games on the DC, let alone great ones. That's why the system fell on it's arse. and NES clones are bull shit. It's just paying $10 to keep the kids quite for an hour.
By that rationale, the DS is failing to compete with the PSP. I'm tempted to let the DC comment slide, because as you say, game enjoyment is subjective. However, you make a point about someone else failing to recognise that their statement is opinion, and then go right ahead and make generalisations about the quality of the entire back catalogue of games for the DC. Double standards?
