got one of these at a local game shop, complete in box for $10. the box is largely in japanese, so i assume its the JP model. were these even released in the us? are these rare at all? any other games use it? i gotta admit, its pretty awesome. takes some getting used to, but a lot of fun once you do.
I'd hang onto that bad boy if I were you. I could be wrong, but I think those only worked with RR4, and I thought they had a rather limited US release. Either way, it's a nifty controller.
it also suprisingly worked with ridge racer v, though its not too hard to find the limeted edition bundle that was released in the U.S. on ebay. Still id say keep it, hear game play is better in some ways with it.
i remeber seeing a huge bunch of the things... now dont ask me where cos i cant think of where. But i did and they were cheapo.
I sold my LE R4 boxset.... Wish I hadn't, it was super cool, and I've been on a Namco collecting binge of late.
Yeh got similar stock clearance of ebay £11 shipped. Worth it for the hi-res original Ridge Racer demo...... Once I got used to the pad, found it a very enjoyable gaming experience.
