Woah, no way. Extremely sad news. I'm glad he went peacefully with his family around him.

Very sad. Not just a singer/songwriter but a producer, arranger, actor and painter, too. And a legend!

I'm so sad that they both died, I loved motorhead. Although glam was never my thing(punk), Bowie will be missed.

He's already missed. Even his worst album (Earthling) is amazing in the right context.

Long before Japan had Traps, David Bowie was confusing us. SUCK IT BRIDGIT. Bowie did it first.

Was I the only one who didn't even know he was battling cancer for over a year?
    Fuck cancer man.

He always kept it very discreetly although there were rumors about his health condition because of his long public absense for a long time now.
I rememeber he was touring Europe with Reality Tour and had an heart attack (or symptoms pf pre-heart attack) while performing onstage. We would fly next to Portugal and I had bought the ticket the day it went on sale. It was canceled obviously and since then I had this feeling I'd never see him live. It was with a great deep sadneed that the news flasshed to me, I just turned the tv on. For a moment I thought they were talking about the new album.
My all time favourite artist, RIP and thanks for so many great things.

This is disgusting. One youtuber some christian not christian already put up a tasteless video asking if he's in hell and people are starting to scalp his albums (On vinyl) on Amazon and Ebay. I've been wanting to pick up Diamond Dogs for awhile now but that ain't gonna happen anytime soon.

No, I had no idea either. It sucks that both he and Lemmy died of cancer so close to each other.

It's really sad that Bowie has gone. One of the true British pop greats. He was a leader in so many areas. RIP

    He made some good songs.

Last weekend I saw an old bowie music video. It reminded me about 1 1/2 years ago I dreamed he died. Instead that was just about when he got cancer. But anyway the news didn't surprise me. It's just odd it took so long. My death dreams always come true within weeks.

    Gotta watch the labyrinth now...
