Sad news (at least for me), Heath Ledger was found dead in his appartment in NY. At least he got the chance to portray one last great character. RIP **Britney is next
Sucks. Dark Knight was finished though, so I guess thats good, as long as it's good. It would suck to have your last movie suck like Raul Julia.
I was pretty upset when I heard this, because he looked like he kicked ass in the Dark Knight (from the pictures I've seen, at least). Do they know if it was an accidental overdose or a suicide yet? I'm guessing the former. I'd be interested to know what particular kind of sleeping pills they were. With certain pills such as Ambien, you can take one or two to fall asleep, forget you took them, and wind up taking the whole bottle. Compound this with something like "Hey, I could use a drink" and you have a very serious situation on your hands.
i`m shocked to hear this, I`m not his biggest fan but sad news. I hope his final performance is truly great.

Heard this this afternoon from my Mom. I've been sick as a DOG the last few days with a headcold. I was like..."Uhhh, isn't that guy the new Joker or something?" I was thinking after I heard that that maybe Heath Ledger is the new Kurt Cobain but with a clown face. He really looks like him, to me anyway. Of course I was heavily disoriented on NyQuil at the time.
Such a shame, and what a way to end a life Although i havent followed his career recently, he was a great actor, really enjoyed him in 10 things i hate about you, and my missus had a huge crush on him in A Knights Tale Never been much of a Batman fan, but he did look like he would make a good Joker character non the less
Seems rather odd - his career was going well, and whilst he had recently split up with his wife I wouldn't have thought that would tip him over the edge to such a great degree. Might well be a Jimi Hendrix case.

Sad news. I'm really sorry for his young daughter. It was quite a surprise when I read the news yesterday as it seemed a great year for him.
