This game will be missed... I use to play this game as a child with a few of my buddies. I always got my ass kicked though.
Me and a friend picked this game up a long time ago, and someone was showing us play the game, and when we died we kept firing discs and killed 3 people.
I loved Tribes in its heyday. I was usually a sniper or flag capper. I remember playing matches that easily stalemated back and forth for six or eight hours or more. It was mods like Shifter that kept it going for so long. Too bad they could never make a sequel that held up to the original.
