How many were actually released? Is there any definite list around?

Sad to see the Wii U end. It was a great idea, just not many developers could figure out how to use it well.

Oh well, still my favorite home console of the Xbone/PS4/Wii U gen. Switch looks like it will have a killer line-up soon though, so I'm looking forward to that.

Wii U games are going to be insanely expensives, Fingers crossed for some Switch remasters.

If Nintendo is smart they will do this. They've stated that avoiding droughts is a major concern of theirs (and point to that as the reason for the "small" launch; though quite frankly I find the launch to be fine), and releasing some Wii U remakes would be a decent way to fill in any dry spells.

Being able to play Bayonetta on the shitter, is a huge selling point.
Plus having Star Fox Zero with a regular control scheme would be nice.
I've been on the cusp of the Wii U for a while but that giant gamepad turned me off so I'd like to play some of those games I missed on the Switch.

Didn't Nintendo keep reassuring people that the Switch would not be the end of the Wii U? I suppose they didn't want the leaky tap of sales to completely stop..

They are a business, this is expected of them. They did the same thing when the DS came out ("DS won't replace the GBA; we're going to have a three pillar model").

I never heard them say that Switch would not be the end of the Wii U.
They did however say the Switch is not the end of the 3DS.

Yeah... only way I see a 3DS successor is if the Switch bombs and Nintendo just walks away from the home console concept all together to focus on a portable system. Otherwise, I imagine the 3DS successor will be "Nintendo Switch without the docking station".

I think it'd be nice if they kept a smaller "extra portable" system to go along with the switch. Don't think the switch is pocketable...

I don't disagree. Quite frankly, the extinction of dual screen gaming would be a crime in my mind.

I'm not sure that Switch will do a lot better than WiiU. It's a large tablet again, now with detachable controllers that... lack d-pad. Also there's question of games. I hope it won't be like 10 Mario-something games, 10-15 non-Mario games, rest won't worth buying for more than average mobile game price, like it was with WiiU.

The DS is a good gimmick and they have tons of games they can't port to switch, they'd be stupid to let it die now.

Yeah, I guess the Switch will be the high-end handheld and the the 3DS the low-end handheld. That would be smart. A 100$ console for kids and poor people and a 400$ console for enthusiasts and hardcore gamers.

Wind Waker on Wii U was a blast. I'm bummed I got rid of mine though because I'm not going to get a Switch just for Breath of the Wild.

That was horribly bad timing. Wii U sales soon plummeted in 2016. No telling what unannounced games were crumpled into the scrap heap.
