It will be crap for the simple fact that they will never get anyone to top Kurtwood Smith's performance of Clarence Boddicker. Best screen villain ever!!! "Can you fly, Bobby?"
How is that suit Robocop!? Must be on a super tight budget, that's stupid. I've seen costumes done by cosplayers that are way more detailed, this is for a movie... I don't get it.
Looks like Hollywood just can't stop doing remakes. I agree with Yakumo, it seems the whole movie industry is going kaput. Please NO! :dejection: "New" Robocop DLC in 3,2,...
Uhh, what?! Sorry, but you've only been a member for two months! I don't think you're in a position to judge. This film will be poor. Just like the sequels were. And all the TV series that were based on it. And that god awful Titus game from about 10 years ago. And, of course, like most remakes. Seriously, Hollywood - get some new ideas!
instead of a remake I just want a version of the original on blu-ray that doesn't look like an upscaled DVD.
how is the data needle thingy gonna work...it doesn't make sense in modern context, what with wireless downloading and stuff...how's he supposed to stab stuff now?
BTW the greatest Robocop theme goes to the Gameboy. probably one of the greatest chiptunes of ALL TIME.
I really dislike the GameBoy "Robocop" theme. The electronics company, Ariston used that music in one of their early 90's or late 80's adds. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpWeMWbKBIk I really like the Data East arcade Robocop music -
gameboy version doesn't even sound like a robocop tune dont like it don't think it fits the game or the franchise. that arcade one fits alot better
That's because it's the movie's theme song... I like the Gameboy version cuz it sounds like a C64 tune, but it definitely doesn't remind me of RoboCop.
said it better then i could + these are without any digital effects / CGI its like judging a game by a mock up aplha build with half a level and no textures. the nano suit links in better with modern technology and peoples expectations of what a cyborg cop would look like based on concepts like the crysis nanosuit. if they japanese were doing the movie we'd probably have something cross between ghost in a shell and ed-209
I'm pretty sure he was made to look clunky on purpose, for the same reason they gave him an old Ford Taurus as a patrol car...and for the same reason he killed most of the criminals he encountered.
