Actually, The game was developed on Mega-CD. In September 93, Megaforce has published an article about Sega Interactive Development which was the developer of the game.

The game would never be available on western markets.
Capcom as a publisher is strange could it be the publisher for the NA version ? probably an error.

I happen to be finding lots of unused stuff in Moon right now That pic though doesn't look like it's from an earlier version, sine it's got the final HUD graphic at the top right for telling the time of day. Earlier versions had a different from.

Warspirits, most notable in my eyes because it was in development for N64 too ( aside the PS1 version ).

Found another clue on usenet about Pop'n land being a Cocoron sequel:
a Mega-CD game called Cocoron 2 (Kokoron 2) here and there
No more listed 2 months later, but Pop n' land appears at the same time.

It was? What region? Can't say I ever saw it in the UK or here in Japan. Could it have been released under a different title?
