Today came a very valuable NGPC item in my house! 2 Neo Geo Pocket Wirless communicators! I have found only a few articles about them on the internetz and mainly from playasia (where they are out of stock for many years now) and also i have only found them once in my life on ebay and snatched them for 30$. LINK what do you think? is this ngpc peripherial any rare, or worthy to have in a NGPC collection?
I'm a bit of a latecomer and was never really into SNK games until their recent revival on the PS2 / Xbox, although I had previously played quite a few games on a mate's Neo Geo CD, and also used to have an NGPC, but sold that to fund a GBA as nowhere near me seemed to stock NGPC games at the time... My SNK collection only really amounts to the PS2 and Xbox releases, such as the King Of Fighters series and Metal Slug games, although I do have various games of these series for the GBA, Wii, PlayStation, and PSP... Nothing really old though like MVS, AES, or NGPC

I don't have much, but I'm happy to be in the Neo Geo owners club! I've of course played Neo in the arcades on some games on the SNES/Genesis/etc. back in the day, and have been very happily playing Windjammers ever since the Neo's been emulated on Windows, so it's great to finally have the real deal. I joined the club just this year! I'm pretty thrilled to have a front loading Neo CD, since they're fairly hard to come by. Also happy to have a boxed AES, obviously. All of my stuff is the Japanese version. I'm not really too worried about collecting much Neo Geo stuff, but I would like to round out my collection a bit more. A few more AES games at least, some something decent for the Pocket Color. Also, yes... I'm fully aware of how retarded my NGPC collection currently is. Two freakin' pachinko games. I'm sure it is BY FAR the WORST Pocket Color collection of anyone who's ever owned one. I will admit to avoiding sex with my wife just to stare at my AES a bit. That's normal, isn't it? Just great! I especially like the telephone card sections. If it is O.K., please could I ask if you have any of the telephone cards that were part of the campaigns connected to some of the NEO GEO CD games, too (or even different items)?
You're very welcome with any answer about any piece of my collection. Most of those 'not for sale' telephone cards are basically officially produced under license from SNK by big distrubutor/reseller chains in Japan, mostly Sofmap and Messe Sanoh, to be given to customers who prorder some specific new release titles.. Of course, this does not happen for NeoGeo. On the total contrary, it rarely happened for such a niche market system as the NeoGeo has always been. It happens everyday for mainstream products. As for me, since I strictly focus on AES I tend to focus on the few items related to that very one system, but I'm pretty sure more and more 'privilege item telephone cards were also produced for NGCD releases, just as for PSX, SAT, DC and PS2 ones. Other NG related telephone cards have been officially produced by: SNK itself, usually distributed via the SNK Support Club, or -under license by SNK- by Geinbunsha (publisher of the NeoGeoFreak jpn mag), Shinseisha (publisher of the very famous Gamest mag), MOVIC (famed gadget producer) and again quite some other companies.
I own a neo gold with two controllers, black bag with pink inside lol. I own only three games, all old and crap. Mahjong controller, and a few mvs boards. I have a neo cd with about 30 games.
