It seems there have been a lot of breaches of the rules of late. In particular, I've noticed: - High value sales threads with no proof pics. - Price checks. The problems with the price check rules are: - They're lost in the middle of the marketplace stickies. - They're not in the rules section. If you're going to want, say, a price check on a Katana, would you think to post in the marketplace (and therefore check the rules)? You might actually think to post in the Dreamcast section - where you won't find the price check rule. I think it would be more sensible for the rule to be in the rules section - or at least, like the marketplace rules, have a "moved" redirect in there. As for the rules getting lost in the middle of the marketplace stickies, could we not use a hack such as vB_Cement, which gives stickies a priority order? I've not tried them, but hopefully that might enable rules stickies to be permanently at the top. Furthermore, I would suggest a review of the marketplace rules for revision - not necessarily to add further rules, more for clarification. It may be possible to clarify the rules. I think some sections would be better if they were reordered, and perhaps clarity could be improved with a slightly different formatting. As an example: What does this actually mean?! I'm not talking about the word ERPOM (hehe!) - what does unstated mean?! Perhaps we should set a fixed conversion rate for the proof pic rate, too? Something like $99 US(/AUS/CAN) = £60 = 70 Euros = 7500 Yen. Any thoughts?
Make sure it's just the price of a DVD / CD-R + shipping if it's a already widely available to DL on the net, this includes lightscribed stuff trying to pass it's self off as legit.
