Running gta v on a dev kit

    Try using xorlosers xextool / 360game hack 6.6 ;)

    Thanks for this.. The game now starts.. both disc do the same thing.. just says "Loading Story Mode"..

    Just wanted to let you know I'm working on this as well. I have gotten the game to launch fully, but I get a freeze after the little "loading" screen (where it says this means it's autosaving and this means blah blah blah). That was without using the game in GOD format. Since putting the game into GOD I've failed to get the game to launch. Error 1392 (not patched correctly). I believe that some files, other than the default xex must be patched. I have however, gotten my kit to recognize the DLC content from disk one. I'll update with more info soon.

    It is interesting that the content is recognized as "Grand Theft Auto V Disk 2" as the content isn't solely from disk 2. Something to look into...

    I am having trouble with the disc one parts. When I check them on the dashboard it says they are all corrupted. Is there anything specific that I can do to get them working?

    Alright so I signed all of those parts now and the game shows up and appears to be non corrupted but the second that I click on it to launch it gives me a loading bar and the XDK crashes with a Xenon Error Reporting on the next boot. Is there something I am missing here? @z0z1ch I used that file to get my content to display non corrupted. Maybe there is something else I am messing up?

    Are you launching the game in GOD format? I converted all of the DLC content to devkit, and make sure that you convert the xex properly. Also be sure to put the 000007 or whatever folder in with the 0000002 (inside of the GTA folder) that seemed to help me out.

    yes I have it all setup as you descibe. How did you convert the DLC content to devkit? I used Le Fluffie to sign the DLC as Dev Live and then rehashed. Also is there a specific way for me to convert the xex? I just used the default settings in Gamehack 6.3 with devkit conversion. The odd thing is that file makes the Disc 2 Content non corrupt so idk whats up with that either. Do you have AIM or something, maybe skype that we can talk on really quick? It seems that the problem is the 44kb file. I need to convert the one I have to be signed for dev since the one that z0z1ch uploaded allows the content to not show up as corrupt but makes the game crash the XDK so.... idk

    1. Extract Disc1\content\* andDisc2
    2. Disk2 - patch this default.xex with x360gamehack 6.3
    3. Disk2 - create a modified image (iso) - Microsoft Xbox 360 SDK->Game Disc Layout Editor or another program4. Disk2 - сonvert the game to the GoD Container - ISO2GOD
    5. Disk1 andDisc2 pkgfileset pkg machine format devkit - X360PkgTool -m0 <pkg filename> h t t p s://mega.co.nz/#!8h0X3DSS!fApdvHHyoYKHahC78CYPvHf15slosD579h9jVrE3Lsw
    6. Copy pkgfile to your Xbox360 XDK - content\0000000000000000\
    7. Profit

    Then copy all four files onto xbox360 in hdd:\content\0000000000000000\545408A7\00000002\

    disc2:
    Process all untouched files from disc2 using X360GameHack v6.6 using default options.
    Then copy all files onto xbox360 hdd or usb or whereever you want to run it from.

    This is kind of why I made this thread back in 2011^ Follow the proper method.
    Play disc goes on USBMU as a GOD
    Install disc content folder goes on HDD

    No other way around it. If they are both on the same drive, it will harm performance. If play disc is removed from GOD (improper), it will harm performance. I suppose if you played with unpacking and merging the files it could work unpacked but from my observations, it seems to really chug outside of it's mastered image.

    Hi, man, is there really a X360GameHack 6.6? I googled but can't find. The hightest version I can find is 6.3. Please give more clues about 6.6. Thanks alot!

    I have never heard of a 6.6, 6.3 works fine though.
