What does an RVT-H (wireless) go for?
Do they use standard wii power cords/sensor bars?

    By itself, not much.

The RVT-H kit is useless without the tools to write a game image to the hard drive.

I thought the only tools you needed were a USB cable and the Wii SDK?

Does the unit use regular cables? I heard you can only use a wireless sensor bar.

Sensor bars dont send data back to the Wii anyway, so it doesnt really matter.

Regular cables. The (wireless) is referring to the Wiimote. There are both wired and wireless RVT-H units. The wired ones use a wired Wiimote.

Ultimately, the RVT-H is on the lowest rung of value when it comes to Wii dev hardware if you're a collector. It's a neat curiosity, but that's about it. If you're serious about collecting Wii gear, be on the lookout for either a RVT-R reader (assuming you want to play discs) or a full dev setup (if you want to mess around with programming).

There are really only two reasons why a collector is going to want to buy a RVT-H unit:
    1) To complete a Wii dev hardware set.
    2) Because there's a desired prototype on the hard drive.

In the latter case, the value is really in the software, not the hardware. As far as the hardware itself is concerned, I would say it's worth roughly half of a RVT-R unit of the same type, assuming it's in top shape, complete and you can find a buyer who really wants one. Most buyers are going to be looking for the RVT-R.

Is there no way to connect with an RVT-H, to put other games on it?

Sure. If you have a fully licensed SDK setup. You simply build your image and target the RVT-H rather than burning a RVT-R disc. If you're running QA (or demoing a build) it's nice to have it on an all-in-one unit and you don't have to burn a disc.

But if you want to put games you have on a hard drive, just use a retail Wii with homebrew tools. It'll support way more game images, it's easier to use and you can use much bigger hard drives. The tools are also freely available, unlike the Wii SDK tools.

According to the documentation I have, all you need to do is run the rvtwriter.exe software(which I have) to burn an image to a RVT-H or a RVT-R if you have a NEC RVT-R Writer. Have never tried it yet cause I haven't gotten everything setup to work together.
