S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2004 Build Released

This is the first time I have ever seen a game company release an earlier version of an already released game. Although S.T.A.L.K.E.R. wasnt the most "Highly" reviewed game, I still find it very cool that they would do this, so props for that.

If only other game companies would do this... just think.
Valve! Release an Early Half-life beta dammit! Or maybe that Team Fortress 2 on the GoldSrc engine?... ahh whatever. :nod:

really cool! I never got around to playing Stalker but the fact that the company put this out is amazing!

 

So this is just after the build that we saw running in ECTS in August 2004?



That was leaked back in 2004, so not really anything new!

Wasn't that the original build by a Russian company, and then it got taken over by someone else and pretty much redone?

 

Im always a fan of more STALKER stuff, having played a few builds myself

 

Shame they can't work on patching the many bugs that still remain in the game.

 

I wonder if it runs more stable than the release .
