Sad but true, but pc style mods are being done on 360.

I, too, think the mod looks boring. Like Assembler said, it's just a rip-off of something the PC mod community has been doing for years. Clear panels and lights aren't even considered real mods anymore, since you can buy cases with this already done. The PC world has moved on, and I don't think the console world should be picking up its trash. Let’s see something a little more creative, something original.

    I love this phrase.

I had something like that on my old pc. Took for-friggin-ever to draw on all of the components with a u.v. reactive pen, but the end result was worth it. Shouldn't be too hard to do on a console either. That gives me an idea...*cracks open a genesis*

Heh, indeed. My PC is a kit, for example, and it's got a spiral-like shaped window and some fan leds.
I just don't see myself modding a new and expensive piece of gaming equipment, PC-like as the Xbox360 might be according to detractors.

A snes or Atari 2600 mod... now THAT is usually awesome. Maybe just custom automotive paint and some sort of really discrete led thing. I don't know, I don't do that stuff.

I could buy 160 new releases for that! Or 400 older titles!

I most certainly would not pay more for a visually modded console (excluding the hard drive addition, obviously).

Jesus mother of ass, maybe I should go out and get myself a 360 and draw Master Chief and Bill Gates hugging on it and make it glow or something and make a few zillion dollars.

I'd be funny if the reserve was simply $1,000.
