Haven't seen this posted anywhere, so figured I'd share the news. I work at Gamestop part time, and today it was brought to my attention that we're taking pre-orders for Samba de Amigo for the Wii with a current release date in February. So... there you go.
Does it have any info if there is a subtitle or not? EB sort of surprised me when a worker found out about Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations weeks before it was announced.
Nope, just says "Samba de Amigo". You can go pre-order it right now for $5. I can get the SKU for it tomorrow if you fellas want.
Heard about this ages ago, first game that has interested me so far. Hopefully they won't balls it up by letting you choose 2x Wiimotes to play it with. Playing with the nunchuck would suck.
Hopefuly they wont ship this out to a **** division like sonic team of usa. Enough with kicking your classics in the balls.
I musn't get excited as this is my most favourite game that sega have ever made. If it really is coming, wonder how they would pull it off? Wii remotes wouldnt work that well i dont think, they would be fine for shaking but how would they know if it was a high medium or low shake. If you use the sensor bar for positioning you would have to hold them level which would be very uncomfortable. Id hope sega update the dreamcast maraccas instead, its really no fun unless you have maraccas.
Its just been confirmed apprantly the new nintendo power has a blurb on it Many users from the ign boards have confirmed it, though there is no mag scan as of yet. Plus, sites like gonintendo also report this! "Sega will bring a new installment in the series to Nintendo's console some time next year. Details are scarce, but you'll shake the Wii remote and nunchuk as you would the maracas(naturally), and the sountrack will feature a mix of new and classic tunes. Surprisingly, the developer on the title is Gearbox Software(Brothers in Arms)." Source:http://boards.ign.com/nintendo_wii_lobby/b8270/150946387/p1
I am totally For the Wii from this moment on myself. Just like the 360 started off with a very few good games, yet now thrives with quality, so has the Wii slowly started to develop a library of quality -and exclusive- titles that will surely make it valuable for any gamer. I think some folks will have to re-purchase their Wii! (I m looking at you subbie )
