note: no offence to anyone, i just found this on the net and felt like posting it :p

  8. It's a states rights issue in the U.S. It's going to take a long, long time for all the states to all address the issue. No matter who is in office (Dem or Repub) I don't believe there will be a nation-wide legalization of gay marriage. I don't see a problem with it but I also don't like people "bashing" christians or "right wingers" for having their beliefs as well. They're every bit as entitled to fight for not allowing it as supporters of gay marriage are allowed to fight for it. Thats one reason I love my country.

thank God my bro (kstyle) isn't here for this one as he's very outspoken on issues that blame christians and conservatives, although he supports gay marriage.

I wasn't using Jesus as an excuse for anything. I wasn't the one calling the US Jesusland, that was koolkid13, or did you not notice my quotes around Jesusland which was basically saying that I think calling the US Jesusland is the stupidest thing I have ever heard.

Yeah, but I knew what your intentions were. Not only did you post that RIGHT AFTER I MADE MY POST, but you also featured a little picture of Jesus with some idiotic text right by it. How 1337! You were targeting me, and I knew it the entire time, because I'm just that good.

Oh and lets not forget that I was the only one who made a post contrary to what everyone said. Instead of singing Canada praises, I said it was something bad. OH NOEZ!1!111!11 He don't agree with us, lets call him a bigot. So there ya have it, I was the only one that picture could target. Eva-01, there's a new invention out called thinking, maybe you should try it out. Couldn't hurt right?

I have never understood how banning same-sex marriages does not violate the 14th Amendment (the equal protection clause). I guess no one has had the money to run it up to the Supreme Court, though they seem to be ignoring the actual law lately...

  14. The money has been there and heard (on review or info gathering status) by the Suprem Court. So far the SC hasn't accepted to hear an actual case though. It's hard to get around the fact that the marriage laws in the US are, and have always been, based on Man/Woman joinings. It's hard to turn hundreds if not thousands of years of world marriage beliefs on it's ear in just under a century let alone 10 years or so.

HELLO ??? do you know the first country who legalised same sex marriages ???
it was also the first country who made it legal and also did the first gender change surgery ??? does that ring a bell at all or for that matter the same country legalised porn in 1969, so that country has made some hardcore cool things and i only hope the next important thing they do is put female inner sexual organs in the male body, that would be again a great event in history as the first country to do that.

And anyway i think i will make a topic soon of how much you know about that country since , although it is a small country it is in some ways a very event important country on some subjects.

And sorry my mind won´t put the right words in my sentences.

  17. a great event in history??? Come on. Maybe I missed your sarcasem (I'm hoping). Just because science can do something doesn't mean it's right! Sexual preference is one thing but changing phisiology. Not an enhancement of an existing part but changing from one sex to another? Whats next? Someone having Ape parts grafted onto their body because they feel as if they're an Ape in a humans body. We are what we are. The 21st century has the unfortunate possibility of being recorded in the future as the most confused most scientifically irresponsible time in history. We have to learn that because we've achieved the ability to do certain things, doesn't mean we have to do them all.

If you want to get technical it is legal in the US though only in Massachusetts. Like someone pointed out it is more complicated here because it is a states rights issue. It is also more that just a red and blue/dem and repub thing too since time and again polls show that the majority of Americans are against it. Personally the way I look at it is that if straight people have the right to get married, screw it up and get divorced then gay people should have the right too. Then again I have a cynical view of marriage and am not really religious. As for taking it to the Supreme court. With the way they've been fucking up cases left and right lately I'd say that is a bad idea.

Errr....every media are telling that there's 4 countries legalising gay and lesbian mariages, and since i not very intersted in the subject (though i'm happy to ear that gays and lesbians won their fight in 4 (or 5, if you say so) countries) , i don't know much about it, and everything i heard about was on tv, pardon my ignorence.

and i'm ok with gay and lesbian marriage, but changing the nature of things is something i can't stand, save childrens from affrica or whatever, or at worse take donnated ovule to make a kid, but changing your body and sexual organs to make kids feels just wrong, just accept the fact that you're a guy. that's like gays that dress themselves like girls, or shemales, or even mikael jackson if you want, with it's ''bleech''. If you can't accept who you are and how you are, then you're no better than the moral going trough the medias telling you what you should and should not be, you're what you are and must accept it. accept the fact that your sex, accept your color, accept your roots and where you came from. except that you'l die and that you're getting older every moments of your life and what it all implies,

You can call me crazy, asshole, or whatever you could throw at me because you don't like what i'm saying, i just don't care, it's my opinion, that you like it or not. i am maybe the only
one here that think this, but this is still what i am thinking. i would like to write it with better words that would fit perfectly what i want to say, but i am just not able to do so at the moment.
