Thanks for the clip rottentreats. Looks so fun, I love that series. Hell I must have dumped $500 into RUSH2049 - and that was at nickel city!
[PC Game] San Francisco Rush: The Rock Alcatraz Edition [1997] Another quick vid - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=86aUzcyVaOE Shoot me a PM if you like the video
rottentreats: excuse the pun, but the first video your driving skills were okay, but the second video. Your skills were bloody rotten , but it really looks awesome and smashing great none the less.
Steering in the game is a bit difficult... when you play it you will see what I mean. [PM for details if you havent already] I was using an xbox360 controller in both videos, lets just say it should make the steering smoother, but I have not perfected it yet...
The game seems to be working in digital mode, not analog, even when using a xbox 360 controller. Have you tested with a steering wheel?
It's kind of funny what you can find if you just keep searching.... lol. https://www.reverse-engineering.net/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2075&p=15029
Is there a demo version? If it really runs on Direct 3D, maybe it's possible to hack the full game to use it too.
Almost 10 years later... Its now possible to run Rush on MAME. With proper Wheel Force Feedback! @rottentreats have you seen this? (video is not mine) Also a guy compiled MAME overclocking the game's processor speed to make the game run at 60fps. Sweet!
