    Got it yesterday. Checked it but the cable goes under the mainboard so i have to remove anything. Will take some time. Unlikely the cd with the software tools was not in the package.. Someone have a image of it?.
    So far some shots of the midi interface pcb, the connection on the board will follow.

    It's an absolutely standard TTL level to MIDI converter circuit. The way the source and sink lines on the board have been swapped shows that it's possibly to screw up even a circuit that simple, though...
