    that's true.
    from what I read you can't have the cart that is direct save AND other things as well like import cart... OT: Was told this is how PDS detects the presence of the import cart as it will try to save directly to the cart in the cart slot and if it can't will dispaly the warning message on the screen and refuses to run... till you defeat using the cheat code.

    Otherwise Sega would've made its backup memory cart with 4MB RMA built-in I guess...

    cheers

    Guess I need to get the official carts then... How does one get by the Kof '95 problem? You literally need the ROM cart?

    save to internal memory and transfer to backup memory cart.
    there's no other way around with ROM cart titles

    cheers

    I know, and I don't like that. Always bitching about not enough internal memory, some games won't even boot. That and I like to play around with Dezaemon 2 :smt033

    And btw, the transfer of save games from RAM to PAR often crashed my Saturn erasing all the save games :angry

    try to find x10 direct save memory cart from Karat.
    I've posted the pictrue of mine on this board last year.
    it's direct save backup memory unit with x10 memory size of normal official one. Whether that's due to some compression ort real memory I don't have a clue...

    with Dezaemon 2 the only alternative is getting FDD unit.

    cheers

    p.s. I might be able to get a junk FDD unit. If it turns out to be working condition assembler will be the first forum offered for sale since I already have one. stay tuned. o_O;

  6. Damn, sounds like you need a different one - like one without a voodoo save-eating curse on it.

    Trade you mine for your SFZ3? :-D
