Hmmm, I wonder if I should just get one of the cheapies like on playasia, but there is a guy who said he'd sell me his official ones for 30$.

Keep in mind the official ones are 40$ in store. If the guy you know I you are talking about living in the same area and that you can just give him 30 bucks and walk off with the cables, you might as well do that if you're in a hurry. Just be sure they aren't damaged. But again, I got a cable off ebay that looks like the official thing and it works. I can't say for a fact that it's official.

By the way, I picked up one of those LCDs. 720p looks very nice through component. =) Haven't tried Mortal Kombat or any JAMMA yet. Xbox 1 through Composite looked alright.

Funny about the HDD, in circuit city they are left out on the shelves. You could easily cut it open and slip the drive in your coat pocket, and leave. You'd think they wouldn't leave items that retail for 100$ lieing around like that.

Lol! Good point. Ours has them behind the cases like with the systems though. =( Same with the Wireless adaptors. I was gunna grab a good condition drive from eBay for at the most 70$ though. I was thinking of just getting a mem card but I have broadband and it'd be cool to play demos.

Ok, I just got PD0 in the mail and notice the bonus DVD doesn't work in any DVD player, is it only playable on the system? Because thats crap.

Sorry, I didn't get the collectors edition so I don't know.

It can only be viewed on the 360 itself.
You're not missing much though...that bonus disc is the biggest waste of a DVD I've ever seen. It's like an intern threw something together over a weekend. The metal case PDZ comes in makes the extra $10 worth your while, the other stuff is just meh.

Damn. Oh well. The whole thing was 15$, and I also picked up Ridge Racer 6 for 10$, hopefully they'll tide me over 'till I can get Gears Of War.

You know the Halo 2 DVD was crap too. I just like the metal cases I guess. I was just sort of hoping I could watch something or see some high quality footage of the game until I get a 360, which should be in about 10 days.
