after the doom3 and hl2 wave, i'm proud to present you ut2007: and this is in real time, in game. Better than anything else i've seen so far. Makes me wonder if killzone 2 is possible
yeah, that's really good looking. bu then again, UT was always two step in advance of the competition, graphic wise. Here there's no pc platform hyping, unlike console power hype, 'cause there's no real war, mind you.
[sarcasm]Oh, its on PS3? That changes everything! Its real 100%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![/sarcasm]
I just went to IGN.com and they said that there will be an Xbox 360 version, and BTW Cahaz, you never clear about those being pc screenshots or not in the first place. And saying this: "Makes me wonder if killzone 2 is possible" Why were you comparing PS3 graphics to a PC game, anyway?
o_0 Man, those are some awesome graphics! Sooner or later, a game you might be playing would look like an actual movie with real people... only, its not...
hum...yeah, well, i must admit that it was unclear. it's just that killzone 2 seemed unrealistic, but now it could be possible (well, if you forget those unreal too real animations). Killzone 2 is the first game with ''next wave graphics'' that doesn't look like it's made with plastic.
do you thing ut2k7 could on on my 386 with 4 megs of ram and 50byte hdd with windows 3.1? its amazing how far we've come in several months...it makes doom3 and hl2 look old
That looks fucking amazing. Probably running on SLI GTX's. It's going to take some serious power to run that game at 60 frames a second.
Some of the screenshots they showed back in E3 actually ran less than 20fps and it was running on the latest and greatest hardware, which was a 6800 Ultra. The 7800 came out shortly after and hopefully, when its SLIed it will be able handle the game much better. The game itself is finished, its just that they are working on the engine so that todays current hardware will be able to handle it exceptionally well, which in thus lets the PS3 and 360 run the game just the same as well.
That would make sense because ATI chipsets suck at OpenGL. In a year I'm going to have to upgrade to a better computer since Nvidia is only using PCI-E. My current Shuttle has an 8x AGP slot so I'm screwed.
