YOU do know that most modern 3D TVs are using pretty much the same tech that was using in those Master System 3D glasses. So much for modern technology. With the 20 year gap between the two I would have expected something a bit more futuristic. At least TOshiba are releasing a 3D TV in Japan that needs NO Glasses. The problem is that it's only 14 inch. Still, it's a start.
yah well 2 issues with the glasses less 3D on both the 3dDS and the tvs they only work at CERTAIN angles and just about depth to far left right up or down and you get blurry vision 3D is total garbage it didn't catch in the 50's didn't catch in the 80's and WONT catch here in the 2000's i remember a time in 3D where stuff came off the screen now a days its just for depth screw that only fools will pay a premium for extra depth
Supposedly, the 'depth' thing is due to the technology used to cheapify 3D in cinemas. Real-D3D (which is the common, cheap one) adds depth to the picture. Imax 3D with the shutter lenses make the 3D 'pop-out' of the screen. Dolby 3D is supposedly the best, as it offers a 3D that's somewhere in the middle, and is less prone to fatigue and nausea. Still really can't see the point, but that's probably because 3D adds nothing for me: just a dim screen and tired eyes. PS: Bomberhead - please reduce the size of that image. It's a pain in the ass to deal with uber-wide screens.
