They still do mate or at least in Japan they do. All the biggest games are by Sega apart from the odd one or two. yakumo
It's gonna be difficult to make profit making shit games. Yakuza was okay. I don't think they'll make a Shenmue3. PS3 and X360 games are getting expensive to make. Plus i'm sure it wouldn't be a big seller. If they ported Daytona USA arcade to the Xbox360 and PlayStation3 and let people play multiplayer they'll would get tons of money. 14 years later, Daytona still is multiplayer arcade racing heaven. Everybody i met till today loves to play it. I have tons os memories of playing it with friends. They could go the simple way, making remakes and great franchises they have instead of making shit like Shadow The Hedgehog. Why they don't make a remake of Alex Kidd in Miracle World? Nintendo does this with Mario all the time. And they make money. Plus, most people today are casual gamers. They don't want to spend to much time playing a game. Wii is making a huge sucess because this.
They still have great games, but unfortunately all arcades here in Rio only have the latest games or dumb games (like Fast and The Furious). It's nothing like the ones you show us on japanese arcades. They even got rid of OutRun2 and InitialD on that simulator cabinet. OH: OH: After Burner Climax (which they still haven't ported to any console :banghead: ) is the only Sega game that still reminds me of how amazing they can be.
That biggest in size? A quick look in most arcades would see a nice mix of games from different companies, Sega I think have gone backwards as nearly all the games released in the last year have been Sega based games. Taito with it's Type-X hardware have at least managed to get third parties (like SNK and Capcom) realeasing games on that hardware, like Sega used to do in the Naomi days. Still Namco and Konami are still looking healthy and I am looking forward to seeing Ace Driver 3 from Namco.
MSA on Wii was royal suckage. Okami and RE4 aren't exclusive. My statement was any game that goes Wii Exclusive from a huge franchise goes to the Wii to die. The Wii is like the Gaming equivalent to Florida.
Yeah, the American one did. The Japanese version that was released almost a year later is far better plus you can use the classic controller and Game Cube controller from what I remember. Defiantly the Classic Controller at least since that's what I use. Yakumo
That was a spin off, if it was another soul calibur fighting game I would say you are correct but SC: Legends was a hack and slash romp.
you're a fucking idiot. 2 of those games aren't even OUT yet. Shut up god of hardcore, I was willing to hear your response since I concur - Wii nights was annoying. But 2/3rd of your list there aren't even released.
Id love a new Alex Kidd game, but I dont want them to make one in the current climate. Why? because almost every remake blows. Badly.
The american works with the gamecube controller also (unfornatly not the classic controller), but if you have a GC arcade stick (like me) then its real good
You've written off an entire platform because it has one or two rubbish games... hello? Do you realise how stupid that is?
