Sega Re-released Mega Drive classics on Mega CD. They also re-released Mega Drive classics.... on the Mega Drive....! In those multigame cart things. Now Sega is owned by Sammy, you can bet Sammy are going to whore out the back catalogue.

Almost forgot to mention though I remember reading this article back in the day:

    http://www.thesixthaxis.com/2009/09/22/leaked-memo-shows-ps2-dreamcast-games-coming-to-psn/

As ever I was glued to World of Warcraft back then so neglected to mention it here.

Maybe it's different in Europe, but here in the United States we can still purchase Outrun Online Arcade via XBLA. Only 800 MS points (url).

I have had Outrun Online Arcade for my PS3 in Europe via PlayStation Network Store for at least 6 months ;) It was £7.99 I think...

EDIT: I bought it in July 2010, but now when I search it doesn't show up and I can't find it manually either.. It is still in my download list though...

    http://www.vg247.com/2011/01/14/dreamcast-collection-due-late-february/

"Sega has announced the Dreamcast Collection for PC and Xbox 360 is to be released next month, permitting those whose faithful consoles have curled up and died the chance to revisit several classic titles including Space Channel 5: Part 2 and SEGA Bass Fishing.
For those born too late to appreciate this bit of awesome-sauce, please note the total lack of sarcasm in my enthusiasm.

Available on disc for PC and Xbox 360 as well as through digital distribution channels, the Dreamcast Collection releases on February 25 in Europe, February 22 in North America, February 24 in Australia and February 25 in New Zealand.
The full line up is Sonic Adventure; Crazy Taxi; SEGA Bass Fishing; and Space Channel 5: Part 2.
Putting aside the questionable value of those first two, the only possible detracting factor is the lack of an official Dreamcast fishing rod peripheral, a delightful bit of engineering which briefly made fishing games a thing you were happy to admit to owning.
Revamped re-releases of the original Space Channel 5 and SEGA Bass Fishing for the PlayStation network and Xbox Live Arcade were confirmed in October, too."

Given as Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi is already out there and we already knew about the other 2 games this is somewhat disappointing news that nothing 'new' is there.

Might have Move/Kinect support, which would be interesting.

I am not surprised that this disc would just contain arcade games, less effort to put together. Come on sega give us that shenmue 1 & 2 disc.

A little off topic but just to confirm the prior discussion, OutRun Online Arcade is still available on the European PlayStation Network Store if people bought it before it got pulled.

I took the pics with my PSP-450 attachment for my PSP-3000 so sorry for the shitty image quality :( They are still readable enough for our needs though :)

Yeah sorry for the confusion guys, the game is not pulled YET from the XBLA service. It stays there till the end of 2011. Only the Ferrari license for use on PlayStation has expired.

And as LeGIt states; you will be able to re-download the game ....as long as you purchased it before.

Sega bass Fishing??? Great. Just what we all wanted

This is not a good disc. Crazy taxi on the 360 is awful. Graphic glitches, crappy upscale graphics and a lame soundtrack oh and no KFC, GAP and so on. Sonic Adventure is also not worth it since it's basically the same as the Dreamcast version complete with all bugs.

Why can't we have Daytona 2001 with better handling? What about a updated Sega Rally 2 or even the fantastic Skies or Arcadia with HD Graphics? Oh right, they'll need more work put in to them than some half arsed ports.

Now that you mentiond it would be nice to actually have a arcade perfect port of sega rally 2, but I don't expect it to happen with sega rally's popularity.

Seems like Sonic Adventure game in Dreamcast Collection is low-res like being kinda running through an emulator....Strange.....

Imo Sega Rally, Daytona and Virtua Striker series should be ported to PC/Xbox360/PS3.. (tell me if i forgot a game)

Now that massive multi online gaming is a trend, i don't see many people going to arcades anymore...

So Arcade Perfect transfers of all Sega 3D games is a must.....

sega lost the soundtrack rights for crazy taxi, and daytona usa, including its name, thats why they re-released the same old shit with a different name, sega racing classic.

the only thing of the past that sega does a bit care its sonic, the rest its just screwed.
