I got the Sega partner disc vol 4in today (for Saturn).
And it came with a very impressive impression of the Dreamcast press release show. The speech by Irimajiri, the tech demo, the proto hardware, comments by Yu Suzuki, Hideo Kojima and Segata Sanshiro (!). It also has the D2 show with Kenji eno, the early video of D2 etc.

Im probably uploading this video to Dreamcasthistory but as all the
speech is in Japanese, it might be nice to have some subtitles.

    So..anybody has ideas?

Oh and btw..these discs ROCK..they also have interviews at
Capcom (Lads working at D&D Collection for instance), Gamearts (showing the office with the Lunar goodies closet like the SEGACD version) an interview at Kaze (known from Digital pinball and Necronomicon) which the president and his SEGA pinball tables (!)
A behind the scene look at the Xmas commercial of Segata sanshiro. All the Segata commercials, an interview with the good man, some sega joypolis footage, some unknown SEGA commercials, Sega saturn radio commercials (!) an early Shining Force 3 demo (playable) and much more.
You could say those discs are heaven for every SEGA fanatic.

I would gladly buy a set of CDRs of these from you. :)

But would it be possible to rip it and do a person-to-person transfer over DC++? Or perhaps create a torrent for the image and upload it at Suprnova etc?

I'm dying to see this...Hideo Kojima too huh...wow.

I agree it would be alot more simpiler since all you would need to do is watch it a saturn and or convert the movies off the disc itself.

They are disc sets send to Sega partners (shops which sold Sega hard/software). And contain one normal Sega partner disc and one shop promo of games like Deep Fear, Sakura taisen 2 etc.

Posting to a newsgroup might be usefull as well. As everyone gets really nice fast speeds downloading and it doesnt eat up any hosting at all for you. (thats if you have a news server)

Here's a teaser for you guys untill I find the time to do a.. you know what.

It will remain there untill Sunday so if you want it, get it.

Note that this isn't exactly the full video and the video was compressed 60%, so best played in 320x240 or similiar format.

    43 meg (win)RAR file.

    Enjoy. :smt030
