Sega Dreamcast Japanese launch video and SEGA partner discs

Sega Partner Discs

I am currently visiting this site through my local library, and as such I have absolutely no way of downloading these great discs. However, I will definitely be prepared to splash out for CDR copies. I always knew that a really important Saturn find would come along sooner or later (especially during the time when I don't have a home Internet connection!), though I was expecting "it" to be a major profile prototype such as either revision of Saturn Virtua Fighter 3, a Sonic X-Treme production build or maybe even something from Biohazard 2 or the game that later evolved into Shenmue on the Dreamcast. Despite always looking to these as my personal Holy Grail for collecting, knowing what is on the Partner Discs (which I had heard mentioned before but never known much about) is forcing me to seriously reconsider - how can something with official footage of the New Challenge conference and its featured Dreamcast tech demos not be important to a Sega fanatic like myself? Also, the Segata Sanshiro content may not be original (weren't the television and radio commercials featured on his game, Shinken Yu-Gi?), but the prospect of additional material - definitely the 'making of' and other mysterious 'unknown' advertisements - makes this even more of an essential item. Sadly, it looks as if I'll have to settle for copies. Let's just hope that someone here would be kind enough to help me out, as this time of year is supposed to be all about sharing...

 

Well I found them on Yahoo Auctions JP. You should keep an eye on that. Celga.com wil help.

btw I always was looking for cool Saturn discs as well..I never had the luck own some..now in a short time I found a ***load of them.. (thanks to someone from this forum also)

Please make a Inside System Overview asap

You can see the beta DC joy/vmu on the video (nothing new really), and some nice VMS animations.

Watched the video yesterday and i must say it was very good, and the fmv was pretty clean for saturn.Can't wait for InsideSystemOverview

 

Nice FMV for a Saturn but not the best. I havea game called Maria that uses True Motion and that looks amazing !! Easily as good as Dreamcast MPEG Sofdec stuff. I can't wait to see that disc in full though.

I heard there are actually a few Saturn games that use sofdec in a small window, and it was announced for Enemy Zero (but not realized)
