Sega Katana, SILENT please!

    Unfortunately, the fans & psu of my katana make so much noise I can't tell you that...
    I should also start thinking of replacing them.... :)

    Its definitely worth to replace it. I installed the fan control also and pitch them to a silent lv.

    Just tried it with another PSU & without connecting the 2 fans for the main board,
    and I have a little bit of noise, something like a constant faint breeze of air, coming from the modem speaker.
    Not as much as in your video though... but that might be due to the audio recording of the video ?

    Edit:
    I also tried it on my devkit where the speaker is mounted on the board directly, not on a mini-board, and I've got no sound at all there: modemaru_onboard.jpg

    Thanks! Than its normal. When you get nothing out of the buzzer you maybe have a connection problem like i have before.

    Still have a connection problem with my battery holder. Have to order other solder iron.
