Just run your GDI with NullDC.

If you want to start a GDI file from a Katana Dev Kit, you need to extract all the files from the track03.bin and make a project with GD Workshop, create an IP.BIN and regenerate the full structure of the disk.

You can use isofix with LBA value at 45000

Then extract the generated iso with winrar.

For games with audio it's more difficult you need to do some mathematics...

    use this pattern:

    extract.exe track03.iso track05.iso (track05 Starting sector+150)

    So for a track05 starting at 120000

    extract.exe track03.iso track05.iso 120150

Extract.exe can be found in the Echelon selfbooting pack.

I'm sorry, I'd like to help but I can't understand what you mean, take your time to be as clear as possible and we'll do efforts to understand your problem completely. I know it's hard to be clear in english when it's not your antive language, I've been through that before.

I also like peter griffin :p

to extract properly the track03.bin you need to create a dummy file in order to link track03.bin and trackXX.bin

    Track03.bin should be 1185760800 bytes

So If you want to create a correct image to be isofixed, you need to get this size

    Example :

    Guilty Gear X

    track03.bin : 265 164 480 bytes
    track38.bin : 2 053 296 bytes

    Calcul : 1 185 760 800 -(265 164 480+2 053 296)
    Dummy : 918 543 024 bytes.

then create a file of 918 543 024 bytes and do on windows command line

    copy /b track03.bin+dummy.bin+track38.bin

If you could send the ip.bin or it's TOC I could give you the exact command to run.

NOTE: Extract.exe seem to have some issues at extracting sub-folders sometime, be careful with it as bugs may occur with forgotten files.

    [EDIT]

Just saw Evangelion's post, what he said will also works! You'll then have to mount the iso with deamon tool or open it with winrar to get the files. Extract.exe is simply more "Old School", I guess i'm getting old too ...

    Do this:

    Extract track03.iso track05.iso 95942

    If the files are bins, then run bin2iso on then first (bin2iso track03.bin track03.iso & bin2iso track05.bin track05.iso)

You could also download my gdi selfboot pack that got a batfile to extract data from gdi releases: http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21735

    Run Image2Data.bat
    Enter: track03
    Enter: track05
Press: B if they are bin files, or: I if they are iso files
    Enter: 95792
Press: N when it askes you to run -=selfboot=-.bat as you don't wanna create a selfboot iso.

Now wait and the game's data should be in the data folder, the ip.bin will be in the root of the pack.

It should then extract all of the data from the file into the extract folder, and get the original ip.bin!

    I hope it'll help!
