I'm a bit of a Sega freak ;-). I've got 3 boxed MCD 1's, one doesn't have the inserts, 2 boxed MCD 2's and a Multimega (all PAL). I wouldn't consider the MCD1 rare in the slightest.
I picked up my mcd1 in fairly good condition even without the box for $30 there are tons at this local gamestore which there happen to only be two of its called X Zone
The first SCD I saw was a MK1 in one of those small, dark game shops of the early 90s. It was located in a small raised platform over the counter with neon lights around the baseh: What can I say? love at first sight!:love2: Man did you even take them out of the boxes? the cardboard is in perfect condition! All heil oldengineer!ray:ray:
Hehe, Yeh, I sure did take 'em out of the boxes, had a lot of fun with the MD and MegaCD, still use them today in fact! ...Like all my stuff, I try to take care of the bits that can get damaged, and 'yeh' the SEGA boxes still look like new, thankfully.
nope! usually when stuff like this doesnt come out in Portugal some stores would import a few units from Spain, but since Spain didnt get the MCD1 either...
