Sega NTSC Modding help needed

Hi

I been looking at the switchless mod and purchased one from badad84

what I wanted to know is

is the way to mod the consoles on an NTSC console the same as PAL console

or is there something different to do

and will it then play pal carts/discs

 

The mod is the same on NTSC and PAL units, although obviously the initial state of the jumpers will be different.

If you just modify the console then it will be able to play PAL carts, but the Mega CD will still be locked to
NTSC - there is a replacement region-free BIOS that you can install to remove this restriction.
