Anyone else remember these old commercials for the dreamcast? By far some of the funniest ones I've ever seen. (excluding the Zelda Musical for Link to the Past)
Segata Sanshiro was advertising Sega Saturn if I remember correctly. Now he is somewhere in the galactic, because he has rescued SEGA people from big bomb.

As far as I know I have copies of every 'Sega San Shiro' commercial ever made. All of them are for Saturn except one which is the final one made, and was sort of a farewell to him as the advertisment masco. A Dreamcast symbol was shown briefly as a prop in that one.
Oh man! I have all of those downloaded too. My favorite is the one for Sonic R where he kicks the crap out of the kids.
i believe our beloved Saviour of Saturn is some where out in cold space freezing his nose off on top of that big missile he courageously diverted into the space instead of Sega HQ... it'd be cool if M$ revives him as a mascot for xbox360 in Japan... think Segata Sanshiro in green/silver uniform kicking ass - on the second thought thou that wouldn't be too good our Segata Sanshiro in green/silver spandex...
well you know how it goes like... they didn't show whether he died just explosion... he could've been rescued by sexy aliens on UFO and come back as X Segata Sanshiro... or ailens cloned him and we get Segata Sanshiro X #360... he he
I've got all the Segata-san Shiro adds in nice MPEG or Truemotion quality None of this crappy Cinipack stuff that is floting around the net. There's even a Segata-san Shiro music video (I own the CD single) and a load of radio adds as well. One day I will made a DVD collection. Yakumo
from the game? is a shame that not all commercials are in the game :\ there are like 3 that are not on it and the last commercial... and the quality isnt that great if you ask me... is better than the videos out there but you can see like dots on the video "like on .gif images".
Some are from the Segata-san Shiro game but you're forgetting that I have those Club Sega discs as well which are full of Segata-san Shiro adds including the making of the Christmas add !! Yakumo
Yakumo, a DVD containing all of the high quality Segata Sanshiro television spots, his music video, radio clips and that "making of" feature would be absolutely amazing - especially if you could come up with the same quality of box artwork you did for the Propeller Arena release! I'd sure count myself in for something like this, so how about it? P.S. Why don't you add the Yukawa commercials as well? Also, what's the chance of the content from those Sega Partner discs being uploaded somewhere? I've been looking for a decent copy of the New Challenge presentation/tech demo sequence for way too long...
Why not put them on a VideoCD instead, then? What better way to enjoy Sega footage than by watching it on a Saturn (providing you have the right hardware, that is)?
I will make a Video CD collection at the highest possible bit rate. that should keep the image pretty much the same as the originals. As for the Yukawa adds I could add them as well I guess. The New Challenge presentation was ripped by me ages ago. It's on my FTP. I may do it again though with better resolution. Yakumo
most if not all DVD players will have no problme running VCD... hack my 8 year old PPC Mac can run it no problem...
