So my friend wants me to mod his Sega Saturn but I can't figure out what his motherboard revision is.
He has a MK-80000 and his serial number is 051051817, I looked on http://evilboris.sonic-cult.net/saturn/index.php?type=-&model=MK-80000&s1=-&s2=-&s3=-&sega_id=- and the only one that goes 05105**** doesn't say what the hardware revision is :/ Is there somewhere else I should look to tell what revision it is? He isn't tech savvy enough to open it up/he isn't willing to open it, and I don't live near him to do it myself.

Hey Druid maybe you can answer a question for me. Does the model 1 have the same test points and array of resistors behind the A/V socket on the underside of the motherboard like the Model 2? I'm working on a quick solder board and if the Model 1 is different than I will have to design 2 instead of one board.

Could it be possible for you if you have the time to take a photo of 2 different motherboard of the AV connector underside?

I'm interested in the test points behind the AV pins since they are all the same but on a cutoff picture of an obviously different Mobo than mine the test points are numbered differently. Do you have a link to the Galleries with the motherboards?
