Sega Saturn - Waterworld

The only Waterworld games that were released were for the SNES, Virtual Boy and PC, none of which were anything like the described Saturn version.

The unreleased Mega Drive version of Waterworld was leaked some time ago and no one cared legally speaking. I don't know why it should be different with this one.

 

Maybe because the leaked Genesis version was from another different source...

In this case maybe the only copies of the finished game are in the hands of the main programmers and they don't want make it public without have all the legal permissions covered.

 

It definitely came from another source, but the Mega Drive version was still a finished game to be published by Ocean that was kept unreleased, pretty much like this one. Can't remember now if that one made to press or not.

 

I wonder how many more unreleased games are in the hands of programmers neo geo pc engein psx god knows.lets make next week the big ask. please sir can i have some more unreleased proto's.

 

Could we at least get him to give us a gameplay video. Even something short and sweet would be nice.

 

I hope he let us play that lost gem..

 

Sorry to bump this really old thread but did this ever get a release? Iv done some searching but not getting anything. Sorry again.

 

The game was never commercially released. There is allegedly still at least one beta copy but nobody has actually seen it.

 

I made an offer to the owner, he was okay but he wanted to test it first. Never heard from him again.

 

It's such a waste when a game is completed and not released.

Bump. This needs an Online publisher like Good Deal Games to pay for the rights to release this commercially. That being said if released non-commercially ie, leaked, there' s very little chance of repercussions and none at all if someone just offers to leak it for him.

 

I would love to just see some gameplay videos of Saturn Waterworld at this point, lol.
